Arguably, however, the most significant early testing and development of Moody’s initial ﬁndings was to appear shortly after Ring’s work. Entitled Recollections of Death and appearing in 1982, it was written by another physician, Michael Sabom, who, together with colleague Sarah Kreutziger, based extensive research on a survey of the experiences of 100 respondents.
